As tweeted by MuscleNerd a recent article describes apples silent cyber war against third party applications and modifications to their firmware. I think we should be afraid of apple, one of the biggest corporations in the world, but instead apple fears JailbreakMe not because it is a jailbreak but because it gives anyone remote access to their iOS. A key to jailbreak is an exploit in a firmware but since apple doesn't allow anti virus vendors access to their firmware it becomes difficult for apple to protect itself and easy for so called "cyber criminals" to find a hole in the firmware. So far there have been no attacks on any of apples devices but is estimated to occur in a week. Here is the article

I'm glad Apple don't allow anti-virus vendors to peddle their expensive bloatware applications on the iPhone OS.

Didn't McAfee make an app back in the day, and it was in Installer?
