Seems like there is a new team of developers who try to bypass the MC model bug and jailbreak the MC models an untethered jailbreak.
I have no idea if this team is real, but here is their site:
    http://applemc.info/
As far as I know the site will change in few days, and then they will explain more about themselves.

i.e. they're looking to hack the bootrom... good luck to them but I doubt they'll do much... and any dev team that has not yet released anything should not have a donate button!

    ^Agreed.
I'm gonna call bs on this simply cuz they dont seem very professional.

So wait...their jailbreak requires you to first download a package from cydia...

EDIT: forgot to mention, i hope this team does put out an untethered jb, i don't mind being proven wrong.

Seems to me like some kid with poor grammar made this, in my opinion it is fake!

They can't even spell Tel Aviv right.

EDIT: Now I'm not so sure, their site is starting to look more professional.

They seem to not be perfect at English, not that its some stupid little kids, but i could be wrong, i hope they do come out with a jailbreak though, im on a 2g, i know the pain of being tethered lol and also to Vince, it says you need a computer program and then cydia, so maybe it involves a tethered jailbreak and then some package to make it untethered? i dont know if its possible, but maybe its like what they do with the baseband, make it crash and inject the program at startup? so instead of it going to restore it will boot now. Again, i dont know whats possible or not, but its just my speculation. Well have to wait and see though..

I assume having 3 out of 4 Americans on the team would yield proper English.
