AppleCare Issues

    Has anyone else had issues with apple and getting their computer repaired?

    I have been in and out of repair for a month and it is getting ridiculous. I had a bad super drive and it took 2 weeks to get fixed but when I got it back, the drive worked but the cam and Bluetooth no longer worked. Also there was a dent on the top of the iMac. So I took it back and was quoted for 3-5 days and now its the 7th. I was just wondering if anyone else had had problems like this.

    Call them on the phone, and tell them you want to speak with a manager. If you don't get satisfaction there, ask to speak with the next guy up (supervisor I believe). If you are nice, you will probably get a new computer.

    I've used AppleCare several times, and every time they resolved my problem with little to no hassle.

    The Genius Bar should be implemented into every store, in my opinion.

    So you mean call the store? or the 1800 number?

    If they don't have it fixed tomorrow I will be giving whichever one you say a call.

    I called yesterday and was given the usual run-around and how my computer will be ready Tuesday. I got a call from the store today and they said the new case for the iMac has scratches to (beats me how a new case has scratches) and apparently in the exact spot as before. But they will be ordering a new case so I have to wait another week.


    Edit: I am on the phone now and getting a new imac its about time thanks for all the help
