As many of you guys may be thinking about, my 1-year limited warranty is going to expire in a few months (December, so I've got some time). I was wondering, is it worth it to buy the $60 AppleCare Extended Warranty?

A few years ago I sent in my 1st Gen iPod Nano to be repaired (under limited warranty) and they returned it, unrepaired, because I'd dropped it. I wasn't totally shocked, but I was still pretty pissed.

So my iPod touch has one dent in the back, and a few small dents on the bezel. I really love this iPod, and I'd be pretty upset if something horrible happened to it.

Bottom Line: Should I get AppleCare? Yes? No? Throw it out the window?

    It's like $30, seriously.

Thanks for the response, but it's $60 for iPod Touch/iPod Classic.

I have one, now. But does a case replace the need for the AppleCare? I can't really decide if it's worth me shelling out 60 bucks.
