Apple?

    If your iPod is jailbroken, and it isn't working, can you send it to Apple???

    well, if possible, i'd restore it first and then send it
    but if its like, totally screwed
    i see no reason why they wouldn't take it

    Hell no. Didn't you know that Jailbreaking voids your warranty? You have to Unjailbreak it and make sure there are no traces of Jailbreak in order for Apple to accept your iPod for repair.

    what if you have a receipt and you bring it into apple? they wouldnt just say it a fake...

    Yeah, if you want to get it right back. Jailbreaking voids your warranty, therefore, they will do nothing to fix your iPod. It will be sent back to you in the same state you sent it to them.
