    Is it just me. Or is there really no point in this? Just because it -can- be jailbroken, doesn't mean it needs to be, or even thought about. You guys would jailbreak it, be excited for one day, then never use anything that was designed for the jailbreak on the Apple TV ever again. I can bet you on that.

    That depends on what's designed, I'm sure a few devs would make some awesome apps for it.

    The only thing I could think of it doing would be showing info on your tv like weather, tweets, other stuff and maybe streaming online video services that aren't supported.

    Yeah, and I have no doubt that the dev-teams wouldn't even have bothered with this. But they didn't have to do much extra work, as they just used SHAtter, and so I think it's worth a mention.

    There would be no need to, it's already decrypted. Besides, the iPhone Dev Team aren't releasing SHAtter. The Chronic Dev Team are.
