I really think the Apple TV will be updated. It hasn't gotten an update in a while. Nvidia Ion with an Atom CPU allowing the Apple TV to show full 1080p HD. SSD 128GB hard drive. With Nvidia's Ion 9400M, games and apps similar to the iPod Games, id's John Carmack comes on, demonstrates a copy of Quake 3 on the Apple TV, using the Apple TV's new bluetooth with the wireless aluminum keyboard, playing with Steve Jobs, who is at home and on his Apple TV. The apps are exclusive to only "big" developers, similar to the iPod Games.
And raise the price several hundred dollars. It's really not needed at all. Movies load fast enough already from regular HDD's.
I just wish it had widgets... I mean, it's hooked up to the internet 24/7, so why not include something like Weather, Stocks, Facebook/Myspace notifications, etc.
That gaming idea I talked about in that one thread would be great! Lifehacker agrees too or was it gizmodo?
Good luck getting a 7500RPM drive. Apple TV is a poor excuse for a HTPC. Especially for the fact that it doesn't do 1080P. +We all know Steve Jobs view on Blu-Ray...
