iOS 4.1 Apple to brick jailbroken iPhones?

    No. That would definitely cause some kind of lawsuit considering jailbreaking is legal. The only thing jailbreaking will ever be able to do is void your warranty

    I know this is a long stretch but in the GM if you try to jailbreak it The Phone app dissapears, and tons of other stuff goes wrong. Maybe they wont brick it, but make it near impossible to use..?

    How? i tried to jailbreak 4.1 GM [ knowing that it wouldnt work ] and nothing bad happened.

    Huh..?

    It jailbreaks but I have so many problems.. Phone app dissapears, data doesn't work, Cydia gets borked, apps don't sync. Syncing screen doesnt work..

    ... Lol Yea, iPhone 3G Like it says under my profile picture. I know Spirit or any other jailbreak wont work, other than a bootrom exploit.

    I wish MuscleNerd would hurry up and fix this.. I am in need of my jailbreak :\

    Ohh, no wonder. I've seen others screw over their 24kpwnable device doing that, simply by opening Cydia after the jailbreak.
