I took my iPod to the Apple Store yesterday. It was overheating, which affected both performance and battery life.

She told me to restore it and set it up as a new device. I'd done that a few days before, but she wouldn't believe me, so she restored it again in the store.

After setting it up as a new device, it took TWO AND A HALF HOURS to sync 979 songs and 23 apps. It also stops charging at what I can only guess is about 95%, at which point, the iPod displays the almost-full battery and the "charged" icon in the top right corner, and iTunes just shows the battery partially charged without any "Charging" or "Charged" symbol on it.

So I'm guessing the problem's still there.

The lady at the Apple Store said to call the Apple Support line if I still had problems. Do I have to call, or can I just like email them or something? And is the number on the Apple site?
