    So i was just wondering has anybody ever went to an apple store and given you anew ipod casue your screen was cracked (alittle) or you said "i restore it but it doesnt work"?
    but it actually still does work. Do they put your ipod in there computers to see if its working or?

    Yes, they plug the iPod into one of their computers with some special utility that diagnoses your device.

    sort of i'm going to send my ipod to them and need a way to freeze my ipod

    if u got the warranty just break it, physicaly, then send it in

    i would say to jam a screw driver into the audio jack and move it around, lol it seems like that will do some damage

    What does that have to do with him replacing his current iPod?

    The warranty only covers defects, not physical damage that he caused.

    If Apple can prove that he did it, they'll void his warranty.
