    Im gonna paint my black iPhone 4 white and tell them it has anntennagate problem.

    Why can't this apply to Australia as well? *grumble grumble* My iPhone 4 is nearing 2 years of age, and the Home Button often requires a very firm or "specific spot" press to respond. I'm attributing this to overuse, as my addiction to the iPhone has run rampant since I got it in November of 2010. Not long to go and I can finally upgrade...

    What would be nice, however; is if I could waltz into an Apple Store, walk to the Genius Bar, show them the issue and get a free 4S. Unfortunately the only Apple Store with a Genius Bar (I think) is the 3 storey flagship store in Sydney :'(

    ^This happened to my iPhone 3G either a year or 2 ago. Sent in an 8gb (for the typical case cracking) and got back a 16gb free of charge. Must have ran out of the space?

    >Also, wish I had a white 4. Black. :/ lol

    I was literally JUST about to post almost the same thing. I wonder if they'll see that the color associated with the serial number is black, and say that they cannot service your phone because it'd been modified.

    They replace black models, they just don't have enough white 4 models to give to replace them with.

    Side note: wonder if it's the issue they had with making the white parts 'match' or just that they sold so many since they released it later than the black model.
