is apple trying to stop jailbreaking. because earlier tonight i tried to take of the application space limit and messed up my touch and had to restore it and such. i began building it back from scratch. after gettin almost all my old apps the websites including this one stopped working..theoldcomputer.com stopped working almost all the sites. i still cannot log into winscp. is this just my computer or are they trying to stop all the sites??

If there was a problem with apple trying to stop this, the forum would be flooded with threads and posts on this matter.

Apple is releasing an update for the ipods that recently came out (new nano, classic and touch) apparently this update will reset all settings and make the ipods far more secure, also the update wil instal 2 new application frm which 1 is a game. I think they r doin this to stop people frm hackin ipods

No one said you had to update to new firmware either did they? Just hang back on 1.1.1 for a while if you have it working to your liking and wait to see what people have to say a week or two later about the new firmware.
