    Its just chromatic aberration happens will all lenses.

    How do you get the purple haze to occur? Never once saw it on any of my devices and I cannot replicate on my 4S or 5.

    Smartphones have put devices in the hands of people that, just a few years ago, couldn't tell you what a lens was for let alone what "lens flare" is!

    People who complain about it don't know what they are talking about. They need to do more research. :p

    Easiest way is to point it at the sun...but of course you risk damaging the sensor a little bit if you do. Just point it at a fluorescent light bulb.
