Apple Releases Web Apps

    To compete with the 3rd party apps and the frenzy of people like myself who loved hacking their ipod touch, Apple has release some apps for the iphone and ipod touch. check the link below

    Kind of boring, really...web-based apps...*yawn*.

    Not boring atall! There are far too many problems with jailbreaking and it voids the warranty. I think web apps are great! I think we already know about this site though. Thanks for posting anyway

    theres absolutely no way of apple knowing you jailbroke it if you restore, there for it doesnt void your warranty. if you're going to be stupid and take it to the apple store with 50 3rd party apps installed then thats when you should worry. most the web apps ive tried are pretty shiit to besides battlefeet and a couple of other games.

    I Found them last night... I haven't taken them for a test drive yet. Are they any good?

    Meh, so so.

    The weatherbug app can't change from farenheit to celcius which sucks.

    FaceBook app rocks through.

    Ahem, major problem with web apps, you have to be connected to the web.

    So if I was, say, on the Metra rail in Chicago commuting from work, I wouldn't have access to them. Hence why having them completely installed on your Touch is much much nicer.

    meh, dnt really like em... they cant be added to your springboard
