    If anything, it'd get them more users. More people using it on Windows PCs would just drive it up.

    There is no source, its just kinda obvious IMO. iChat, Facetime, photobooth, iMovie, etc has never come to PC. Just like most of Apple's software im pretty sure this will be Mac exclusive.

    That makes a lot of sense, unfortunately one cannot legally run OSx on a PC without paying for it...and the compatibility with a PC is insane bc there are thousands of PCs with different specs, compared to a couple Macs that all share the same processing stuff. So...I highly doubt Apple will ever do it.

    Indeed. The new Messages app is just updated iChat, and not a separate app. Also, it would essentially be Apple porting iMessage to Android. Not going to happen.
