Alright...I try to sync my ipod touch to my computer and I get the error

"Apple mobile device service not started"

I have gone through Services and tried to turn it on.
It gives me another error stating that the apple mobile device service is automaticly started.

    What do I do now?

try uninstalling the apple mobile device support from the add/remove programs in the control panel and iTunes (dont worry you wont lose your music) then after the uninstall reboot your computer and go to apple.com and download iTunes and that should solve your problem...

Yes, usually reinstalling iTunes does the trick.

Alright..My computer wont connect to the internet, I reinstalled iTunes, rebooted..still cant do anything about it. I'm on my moms computer right now so, downloading anything is pretty much out of the question. I got iTunes on here and restored it but. That was the most I could do.
If it's a smallish file then, I could probably do that but. No like 6 hour downloads here.

    I miss my portable music!!
