just another idea for customize or anything.
but does anyone know where in the system the folder is where the apple logo is that shows on startup?

it would be kinda fun to be able to change it to whatever picture we wanted.

    possible??

Arghh, I found where it was located, I'll just try find it again so you can change it.

EDIT: Found it, ask if you want to know how.

I believe the apple log is located at ~/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app
There should be PNG file called, applelogo.png.

There is an Apple-Logo.png located at the ~/Applications/Preferences.app

If you do decide to change image, make sure you chmod your own .PNG file to 755. Or if 755 doesnt work use 644. Reboot your iPod after chmodding. Dont forget to make BACKUP of the original image.

Note: I haven't tried this yet. This is just an assumption. So I can't promise that it would work. Don't blame me either if anything goes wrong with your device. What could possibly go wrong just by changing one image, eh?

Let me know if it works though.

The one in ~/Applications/Preferences.app is just a gray apple, cant be used, the other one is what gets me. It IS used for startup but only when the image gets smaller. So they show an apple then switch the images out?

I just wanna know why they did that? Maybe the startup thing is somewhere else.
