    Why is it better to disable something that saves your ipod from a malicious program, surely thats counter intuitive?

    We don't know what might harm our ipods, because Apple has had no reason to use their kill switch yet.

    I personally have it turned off. I don't like knowing that anyone has that kind of remote command over my device.

    For all we know it could be expanded to lock users who jailbreak in the future? Then again, I'm just paranoid
