For those that have or know ALOT about Apple's iTV.... The new iTV has recently caught my attention due to the fact it can stream netflix and I have some questions about it.

    1. After the fee for iTv and monthly fee for netflix. Are there any other hidden fees? (I don't intend in purchasing/renting anything from itunes on it)

    2. For those that have used it how good is Netflix's streaming to it? (I have a wireless-n router brand new and it will be 2 feet away from it)

    3. Is it worth it? (I am a college student that doesn't want to pay $50 per month for cable from my school and wont have a job to support that $50)

    4. Is Google TV even in competition with it?

    Thanks!

I'm not sure if the new one is going to be better than the old. Currently I have my ATV hacked running Boxee with the USB port enabled for external drives. It holds numerous TV Series and nearly 500 movies. It plays avi files like a champ. The only downside is that Hulu pulled support for it and the fix is pretty choppy. It will be interesting to see if someone hacks the new one and what functionality it will bring. If not the new Boxee Box, ROKU, or old ATV might be the answer.
