I downloaded a movie via rental system, knowing it would work.

It download fine, and I thought ill save it for tonight so i turned pc off, later that night i went to watch it, it says expired and it gets removed from library, i then went to purchase details to check to see if i got charged and i got charged twice! when i only clicked rent once!

i sent a report off to them an di will be contacting them...

Just a warning to people, and has this happened to anyone else? how can i get my money back or atleast watch the darn film!

    Thanks

Apple's generally very nice about these things, you'll get your money back, don't cry. If you ever lose your music, you can email them telling them that your HDD crashed and theyll let you redownload all of your songs and stuff

Nothing like a little hyperbole to help wake you up.
Even though it's 9 in the evening.

Wow my body clock is messed up >.<

Just out of interest, it doesn't sound like you've contacted Apple, wouldn't that be a more logical thing to do...rather than rant on here about how they are scammers?

Hehe, same thing happened to me once, except with an album (the album didn't download, and I got charged twice).

I sent a report to Apple via iTunes, they restored my balance to it's proper value, and let me redownload the album.

Oh wow. Apple as scammers is like thinking as Steve Jobs as a jailbreaker, it just will not happen.
