I have a Belkin 802.11 B router and I have set 128bit WEP encryption. I tried entering my passphrase as well as the 26 digit hex key but it wont accept.

I remove the security and the ITOUCH connects to my SSID.

    What am I doing worng?

    Thanks

    try and restart your router
or start it back up from scratch and make a new name and password

Make sure your router is configured correctly and then find the signal on your iPod and enter passcode and connect.

I did do that. Same problem. I also unwired the entire configuration for 10 minutes but no luck.

Why a B router? At least G, B is the slowest. You should think about investing in a Wireless-G router.
