This is a discussion thread for the "Apple is Now Censoring 'Jailbreak' in iTunes" story posted on the front page.
...what exactly is the point of this? Like censoring the word 'jailbreak' in a song or TV show or movie has any affect on the jailbreaking community.
That's absolutely pathetic. Why would you even bother doing that? It's going to have no affect whatsoever to, well, anything! If only Phil Lynott were still alive today...
Apple has not yet learned that censorship creates more interest in an item which is censored by bringing more attention to it. History shows that more people will read the book, watch movie or in this case, want to know more about jailbreaks because of censorship.
Haha, that is pointless... It's not like someone will be looking for a song with "jailbreak" in the song name will be like "Yeeeaahh, this song is kick ass, now ima jailbreak my iDevice!" They are just getting dumber by the day, aren't they?
Isn't there some sort of effect that says exactly what you just said? I forget the name, but it's the something effect . . . I can't remember.
