Sorry dude but there... rubbish. I wouldn't use these. There needs to be a proper color scheme and layout. A piece of advice, don't use gradients on their own. Try the matte look.

    Cool ideas.

But maybe make them blend better, I know the effect your trying to get at, but no offence its not working.

Firstly, the rainbow Apple logo as pixelated which kills it, try using larger images so they can be resized without pixelation. You want the edges to be sharp! like the texts edges, this is key to having a realistic 'cutout' effect. SO when google'ing an apple logo, in the advance or more options (not sure which sorry) select large or 2 mp + to get the good quality images.

The rainbow gradient you used has TOO many colours, edit the gradients so there are less colours and try pastel colours so they arn't as bright, you can find guides for this online.

For gradient backgrounds, they tend to look better if the 2 colours are similar so there is a slight gradient which is more subtle, which i feel makes it look much nicer

    OK the wood ones!

Your getting better there!, however the black/grey as the main colour doesn't work.
Try using two similar colours (so with black you want black and slightly lighter black) so you got the subtle difference.
For these you may need to use a wood texture so the 'cutout' for letters is not standing otu so much, you want it quite subtle and simple, which gets a much nicer effect, especially for a background wallpaper

    .

I hope this make sense as im not the best at explaining, but I hope it helps

    EDIT:

As Oliver said above, adding a matte feel can make it stand out nicely.

Just make it so it blends well and doesn't have parts that distract the eye too much!

You need to use either a properly cut out apple logo or a higher res version

It looks blurry and messy. The iPad text isn't centered either.

I'll make a proper version so you know what to base your wallpaper on. (I'll post it later)
