In my Application, I include some images made by Apple such as Recovery Mode and the boot logo. Anyways, I am planning to submit my application to the app store and I was wondering if I could have these images in my app? It is a "joke" app where you fool the user into thinking their iPod is in recovery mode or booting up and I have included some images I made myself along with some Apple ones.

So anyways, could you include Apple made images in your app?

I don't think it will get accepted anyway, just the nature of the app, Cydia might be a better option.

Agreed. Apple doesn't like anything that could possibly confuse users (be it a trick or not), and Apple typically assumes to the intelligence of users to be embarrassingly low (be it true or not).

It is not like the app would fool the user of it, he or she could fool their friends and make them think their iphone was broken.

Doesn't matter. Axis and the other guys are right. This won't get accepted by Apple.
