Apple earphones problem

    Hi everybody,

    I always listen to my itouch after every swimming lesson. And when my ears are still wet, i just plug the earphones in. And I found out that it is OUT OF TUNE! I was playing lady gaga just dance and I was like an oct octave ive lower!! Any fixes for this?

    Uh, are the ear phones all of the way in the jack? Maybe an equalizers on? I dunno. Maybe the waters skrewed them up, if so, put them in a bag of rice for a day then, plug em in and see if they work

    Sure it wasn't your ears from being wet? Or a different version of the song?

    It sounds like the speakers got wet.

    I had a pair break on me once, and being the electronics nerd that I am, I took them apart. The speakers are basically like any other speaker, just small. Once they get wet, they don't send out the right frequencies anymore.

    You might want to look into a dedicated set of waterproof headphones for using after swim practice, rather than another set of normal earbuds. Then you can just use your waterproof set and not have to worry about them getting ruined.
