I went to the apple store today and i looked for some headphones. I still have the old headphones for my 2gen 8gb touch, i found there were the apple earphone with mic and remote at $30 and another called in ear headphones cost like $70. Witch one is better? I really want to keep it to the apple not any other types.

If you really must stick to the Apple brand, then yes, the in-ears are far superior to the $30 earbuds.

I really don't see why you must buy apple brand earbuds. I'm an apple fanboy with a MacBook Pro, Apple media players, and other hardware, but I know that other brands deliver better quality in the earbud department.

If you were going for a headphone upgrade, then the choice of the same headphones, plus a volume accessory/mic is one that confuses me. The In-Ear buds are superior because of better sound quality (although this may be a non-issue since you are demanding Apple earbuds in the first place), and although I have never owned a pair, I would assume that the durability would be greater as well.

As for a cheaper pair, you can used ones for $45, but you do not want to consider used IEMs.

Edit: I just realized that they both had microphones.

    So yeah...
If you like your music and not a whole lot of ambient noises. Go for the in ear.
