Was it true altruism on Apple's part, or were they just wanting to look good?

2.5 million is nothing to big corporations such as Apple, Google etc.. This is merely a publicity stunt to make us believe they care IMO.

The fact that they made it so public made me question their intentions, along with the (relatively) small amount. HOWEVER, 2.5 million is a LOT of dollars and will help a LOT of people. AAAAND on apple.com they have a link to donate, which is wonderful. So I'm a little divided, but in the end, the hurricane victims get help, so YAY earth.
