This is a discussion thread for the "Apple Ditched Google Maps Over Turn-by-Turn Navigation Dispute" story posted on the front page.
The good news, though, is that Google can update their YouTube (and future Google Maps) app more often than waiting for the next iOS update; and, Google now has direct control over features included.
Speaking of turn-by-turn look at the maps icon turn off the road/bridge and on to the 280, seems dangerous to me.
