    Apple cuts off ad-hoc distribution

Okay, Apple may have gone a little too far. This is definitely unfair.

I really feel sorry for the developer of "Podcaster" now...

Hmm, what bastards. If you develop an app, and then sell it to people ad-hoc, where does apple fit into the equation? Nowhere. So why are they interfering? Because they want their 30% cut, that's why, but they didn't want the app in the first place, what is 30% of $0.00? Apple doesn't lose out by the developer taking this route.

Excellent point. Apple won't listen to logic like that though, all they can hear is KUR CHING.
