I'm from the UK and want to buy the following:

Universal Dock plus Component AV cable (from Apple.com) = $98

Universal Dock plus Component AV cable (from Apple.co.uk) = $142 (£70)

OK - I know they gotta ship them from the States - but this is still some markup!

Anyone know a way around this?

I doubt they're made in the States anyway.

Yeh.....This is rip off Britian !!!!!!!

I purchased my touch in las vegas last month for $299 but with the rate so good I paid £150.00.

I'm also looking at a docking station etc and went to the apples uk site and was amazed at the prices , but I will be spending xmas in orlando so will be waiting till then.

I know they have to ship them here but come on an extra £50 per unit I don't think so.................

Well thats an extra $40 right ($44 if you wanna be specific)?

Well aprox $17.15 of that is VAT, since we pay 17.5% tax on taxable goods.
And the rest, most likely is for an increased delivery charge.
