Apple care understands wrong

    Ok so I have a defective home button so I called apple care they sent me the box and some like indian person was talking so I look at the box it said hold button issue not home button issue so should I worry?

    Probably not. Apple's RMA policy on iPods and the iPhone is repair by replacement, so regardless of the actual problem, if you send it in for RMA or take it to an Apple Store (call to make an appointment with a Mac Genius first!) you will get a new one back. The only person who will have a problem is the guy who's going to do the troubleshooting and refurbishing 'cos he'll end up wasting a bit of time trying to diagnose a problem with the wrong button.

    There's no such thing as a hold button on the iPod touch, so I don't think the person doing troubleshooting will have a problem.
