    1. Also stated that the deal will not adversely affect HTC's already-shaky financials

    2. I have a feeling that this means HTC will more aggressively target Windows Phone, and that this deal was potentially only done because HTC made a partnership with Microsoft.

    3. Also, more signs that Apple is less litigious than it was even a few months ago. While HTC never blatantly copied Apple's trade dress, like Samsung did for a while, they did have many infringing mechanisms built in to Sense. Apple knew this, which was why they targeted them - they were fairly low-hanging fruit. And yet, they've both dropped everything.
