This is a discussion thread for the "Apple Airs 'Colors' TV Ad For 13" Retina MacBook Pro" story posted on the front page.
I swear I saw nearly the same exact commercial from apple six months ago, but the laptop spun the other way.
What a biased headline on the front page...the commercial makes it out to be a professional product, catering to professionals. And when everyday consumers see it as a professional product, they'll want to get it to "be a pro". Genius. It would be stupid if they made it out to be something as fun as the iPod lineup, cause its not. See what Microsoft did with their Surface ad? They made it out to be a fun device, not something professional, and that is why it won't appeal to professionals and businessman. This Macbook on the other hand will, and also appeal to the everyday consumer. They couldn't have released a better ad for it.
This guy has no idea from Microsoft not appealing to professionals, to thinking he's not a fan boy. Was a bland ad, but you pay for product, not pay for advertisement.
