    Hey guys

So i formatted and reinstalled windows 7 ultimate today and then realized i have all this stuff on my ipod touch but no longer on itunes. Luckily i have all my music on the comp and was able to resync that back onto my itunes but what can i do about my apps. I have heaps on my ipod but none in the itunes library. As far as i can see the only option is losing all the apps on my ipod touch :S which i really dont wanna do. any ideas?

Before you sync your device select 'transfer purchases' in iTunes to sync all your apps from your device back to iTunes.

i tried that and it shows up as syncing for about 1 second then stops and none of the apps are transferred over. Maybe its cos my apps werent actually 'purchased'.

Wow, the EXACT same thing happened to me. Installed windows 7 ultimate, blah blah blah, and I ended up like you.

You are going to have to lose all the apps you've synced previously, so make a note of the apps and then just download them later. If you're still having any problems just tell me, becauseI still had many problems with syncing after upgrading to windows 7
