Can someone help me? I have about a page and a half of app store apps. Everytime I try to open one, it crashes. It will let me open all my cydia apps but the ones from the app store crash. I've tried rebooting but that doesn't work. I really don't want to restore. Any pointers or ways to fix? Anyone had this problem yet?

it could be any number of reasons. maybe...
    1. something wrong with the app itself
    2. interference with winterboard(games like Brother in arms)
    3. The apps are cracked

I doubt the OP has 1 and half pages of apps that are wrong, but your #2 and #3 are good points..

Unsync ALL of those apps from the iPod, then restart. Sync them back on one at a time, then see if they work between syncs. If it doesn't work... you have to restore, since either you screwed up your MobileInstallation file or something else in the iPod got corrupted, or else someone was mucking around with /var/mobile/Applications.

Figured this one out... If you've downloaded apps in itune's appstore, DON'T BACK THEM UP AND SYNC THEM IN YOUR ITUNES... it creates confusion when itunes sync them back in ur ipod. no need to restore.. just delete and download them again...

this happenned to me today and i got it working. this is what you do.

    1. connect the ipod touch to your pc
    2. copy your applications to your library
    3. delete the apps from your ipod
    4. double click on the app in your library and authenticate it with your Apple ID and pw
    5. sync them back in your ipod

    hope this helps
