right only got my iPod Touch 2G 16GB yesterday and its already causing me a headache!

ive downloaded a couple of applications from the app store - facebook, ebay, zippo lighter...

and now everytime they open and try to load they close. All the other applications - maps, music, stocks, clock etc all still work fine

i have tried closing them by holding the home button down, and restarting the ipod but they are still doing it!

any help would be greatly appreciated

Turn off iPod, turn back on and see if it still does it, ReSync, and maybe restore.

    Don't restore.

I have encountered this problem, and I just went to the App Store on my iPod and installed another application that wasn't installed, so just go into the Top 25 Free applications and find one that's you haven't downloaded before and install it. The rest of your App Store applications should then open fine.

What I did is I deleted all apps, reboot, resync.

No apps would work; no matter when I downloaded them, even from mobile App Store.

might be a problem with the device. take it to the Apple store to get checked. Or restore and hope for the best.
