    Jesus Christ! I just submitted an application to the App Store and they wanted everything done to the minute'st detail.

    icon.png = 57px
    large icon = 516px
    default = 320x480[px]

    I had an extra unused file so they made me redo it.

    OMG
    well its been submitted and it is

    I dont understand what you mean.
    I am a dummy?
    I made this application available for the 2.x users. I did all the coding but did base on thier images,
    Being as its a free application and nowhere I saw copyright I assume Im doing nothing wrong.
    Simply testing out my App Store Privileges.

    I had no idea there was source code available. Damn. That would of been easier.
    I dont know how long they take to add to the store.
    I just want to see something I made up their. I will make a better more credible app. Lol

    So, you took all the CoreGraphics methods and converted them over to QuartzCore methods. You also took images and code that is protected by GPL without so much as a nod to Sean Heber, the person who created this app?

    This would have been fine if you gave credit. Also, use of GPL protected code requires you to release the source code, else you can be fined. Apple strictly forbids open source, as it would violate the Non Disclosure Agreement you signed when you became part of the developer program.

    As far as the AppStore being "anal," I sure as hell hope they are. I don't need extraneous files wasting space on my phone. It only has 16GB.

    Point taken. I will contact him immediately, but like I said I used none of his code. I guess I will spend tonight redoing the images.

    I did know about his application while making this obviously and I did upon submission to the appstore include iappaday in the description. I guess I will E-Mail him for official permissions.

    If its ok with you guys I am going to let the application stand for now mainly to see how long it takes then to put it on.

    The company I worked with in Daytona Beach got their apps in within a couple of days. Some people have waited weeks with no response from Apple whatsoever.

    Good luck, and I'm sorry I can't really help you estimate the timing.
