i searched, but couldn't find an answer. How many apps have you had before your ipod has run out of disk space? Also, what is the size of an average app?

Most apps don't take up too much space. However, all those ROMs certainly fill up space quickly... Someone around here has a sig saying that they've got 135 apps installer - but they obviously moved their apps into the media "partition"...

the roms dont effect the OS partition space because they are stored in the same file where your music/vids are.

But really, there is more than enough room on your applications partition for the applications you need. 135 apps? I haven't seen 135 good apps that I will use...

If you want to find out how many more apps you can fit on your iphone/pod, go to terminal and type "df -h" (without quotes). It will show you the two partitions on the disk and the free space in them. The first one (dev/disk01s1) is the System partition. That is the one you can fill with Apps.

Each app takes up a different ammout of space. When installing an App, check (in installer) the size of it. The average I would say is ~800kb-1.5mb.
