I found a simple .app, and put it in my applications folder, changed CMOD to 0755, every file to 0755.
Now I restarted the iPod Touch, but it wouldn't find the application.

And yes, the application is legit, it simply open the browser with a website.

    Cheers out,
    Morten

I don't actually know here to be precise, however I'm going to take a calculated guess here based on my knowledge of FTP and web servers.

CHMOD your file to 777. This is read, write, and execute, for owner, group, and other. You're currently on 775, this is read, write and execute for owner and group, but only read and execute for other.

777 is the 'master' CHMOD, at least it is anyway on servers.

My apologies if this is completely wrong on the iPod touch, but hey, it's worth a try, and may make a difference.
