App Folder

    This may actually be the dumbest post you will ever view.

    Where is the /Applications/ folder on the iPod touch? I have looked for it with WinSCP but cannot find it. Do I have to use PuTTY and SSH in there? It seems to be nowhere in the /var/root/ directory...

    No such folder as seen, my root directory reads as:

    .svn
    Library
    Media
    .DS_Store
    root.zip

    I have jailbroken my itouch (clearly, as I can SFTP into it) and have several apps installed off of Installer.

    I don't see my media_sym folder eighter, but I don't care..

    Hit the back folder 2-3 times.

    I used the jailbreakme.com method.


    /private/var (using your genius back folder method)
    .svn
    cron
    db
    empty
    log
    logs
    mobile
    msgs
    preferences
    root
    run
    tmp
    vm
    .DS_Store

    /private/
    .svn
    etc
    var
    .DS_Sore

    Here ya go, i hope this works for you...

    From VAR go to ROOT, THEN MEDIA_SYM...

    I bet you, your APPLICATIONS folder is there

    Maybe a screen will be a helpful. There is no Media_Sym directory. Do I restore and re jailbreak?
