App compatibilty- STAT!!!

    So, the 2.2 jailbreak is out, as everyone can see. This begs the question, are the 2.1 apps compatible with 2.2? Huh?! Are they?!?!?!

    Of course they are, any app with an specific firmware requirement can run on that specific firmware or higher.

    Yes, they are.
    If some aren't, updates will likely follow shortly.
    Cydia and Terminal didn't work yesterday when I jailbroke, but have since been updated.
    Another that I've found that's broken is Scrobbled; I don't know if it posts songs to Last.fm, but the FSO isn't added to the status bar.

    cydia worked fine for me
    used quickpwn on windows
    podcaster works good

    anyone tried quickgold yet? Just curius if it still works even with that new home feature they added?

    How about SBsettings?

    I will update tommorow. Just curius to see if they still work.

    Works fine. Pressing the home button when already on the home screen displays QuickGold. But the next time you look at the home screen, you'll see that you've been moved to the first page of apps. No big deal.
