    apollo, mobile chat barely works with hotmail.. and sometimes takes long to sing in, if you install apollo u will need the new ( hosts ) file to get connected without problems, thats the fixed for apollo for me is the best. works great

    I havent tried Mobile Chat, but Apollo seems to lock up my iPod after a while, really bad too. I try doing a hard shutdown, and restart it, only to hang on the Apple screen. I can do that a few times with the same results. I was about to wipe out my iPod and it went to the lock screen and I was able to back to the springboard. This happens EVERY time I leave Apollo open for a long time.

    I use www.meebo.com

    the user interface is better and it supports landscape.

    idk, i like having the app instead of using a website. hopefully they fix apollo or someone releases another app that works better. till then, i guess i wont use anything.

    ok i have a problem where when i try to log in it says could not connect to authentication server: could not resolve host name
    this happens with both apollo and mobile chat

    The mobilechat in the default installer source is out of date. The newer version is much improved IMO.

    I use flickim.com Great because you can use landscape mode. I cant stand portrait. Very nice interface. No complaints
