Get a copy of the modded hosts file and put it in your /private/etc/ directory

Does it still work with this 1.1.4 jailbreak? Or is it application specific?

Apollo IM development has stopped and best app to use is MobileChat which doesn't need a fix.

The newest version is on the repo: http://twenty08.com/installer

maybe try to install 1.1.4 compatibility Patch and then use the IM fix and then uninstall the patch
