    Hello,

This is in No-way eBay spam.

I am just showing you how stupid (or scammy) this eBay auction is.

    Code:
    http://cgi.ebay.ca/8-gb-iphone-as-is-for-parts_W0QQitemZ260250570782QQihZ016QQcategoryZ3312QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
The guy is selling an iphone that is "Stuck in recovery mode".

    What if...

You put it into DFU mode?

Or tried using ziphone to put it into regular mode?

    What do you guys think?

Hmm...that's interesting. This guy's obviously never heard of iPTF or any other iPod Touch/iPhone site. I guess the 23 bidders have, though. One of them will be getting a very good deal.

Yeah I just searched "Broken iPhone" and people are actually buying "broken" iPhones for up to $200!

I think I might look into that. Too bad for the people selling the "bricked" iPhones, though. They're losing a lot of money.

LOL. Buying a broken iPhone and fixing it with a touch of a button. I will do this when the 3G iPhone comes out

Yeah, this isn't so much a scam, it's more so a very un-informed person who doesn't understand that it is a very easy fix. It could be a scam though, you never know.

9 mins 28 secs - till the auction is over.

    Hmm...

I don't think I'm going to buy this one.
