cause i want to use ubuntu on my ipod
And how would you boot Ubuntu on your iPod ?
Using iOpenBoot ?
You would have to read every single doc about the system kernel and information so you could port it to run on iPod.
You won't, at least now there no X proofed to work on iPhone OS device yet. Besides ARM version of Ubuntu distribution only limits support for few netbooks
how about ubuntu mobile in openiboot?
Just because you want it doesn't warrant a developer spending hours porting it to the iDevices...
what about bochs emu? can't you use bochs emu to boot ubuntu like you boot win 3.11 and -95?
Yeah but it would have to be DSL rather than ubuntu
why doesnt someone port dsl to ipod
Why don't we get android working first? =D
Seriously,, Ubuntu is designed for PC's. So why would you have it on your Iphone? Android is build for mobile phone's / PDA's etc.. so it's better to focus on android.
