    Did anyone NOT JB with lime or green, preserving their 4.0.1 jailbreakme, due to all the bugs with both programs? I have stayed away due to all the reports I have read hoping things will get hammered out by 4.2 as 4.1 doesn't really offer that much more stuff anyways.

    I downgraded to 4.0 and jailbroke with jailbreakme. It's much more reliable.

    My mom upgraded from 3.1.2 to 4.0 while my dad upgraded from 3.1.2 to 4.1 , both 3G , And I can honestly say my dad's 3G is wayyy better in speed and quality.

    @Jordy:

    Are you talking about with JB's? That was the question I was asking. The 3GS will def run better on 4.1 stock as 4.0 caused slow down with some people.

    And what do you mean by "quality"?

    Upgraded to 4.1 and jailbroke. To be honest, I never used jailbreakme.com to jailbreak, used RedSn0w instead.

    4.1 is a lot more stable and smoother than 4.0. I would recommend upgrading if I were you, especially if you can jailbreak.

    @tinyman:

    Really? The opinions I have read seem to be the complete opposite. While 4.1 stock may be more stable (although I do not see how, my 4.0.1 has been as smooth as ice) it seems 4.1 jb'ed with Lime or Green does not seem to be very stable at all.

    Thanks for the input though, to each his own!

    Thanks,
    C.

    Haven't had one single problem with LR or GP. Tried and used both for battery testing purposes.

    WOW! After all is said and done, seems like 4.1 and the jailbreaks seem to be alright. It seemed like lots were having one issue or another.

    I have my iPad Limed after a thousand tries just because it came with 3.2.2, but my i4 is perfectly dialed in and I just don't need to upgrade right now. I guess for me I am going with the adage, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

    I will take both up to 4.2 next month as it seems these breaks are good to go, esp with the i4.

    Thanks for all the input!
