i Was using iOS4 and i found out where the icons go hiding when you open an app! Here's a screenshot in the attatchments....

And i also noticed while updating an app thats running [ although the app didnt support multitasking... ironically, that update added multitasking support ] the loading bar also appears in the multitasking dock, rather than the app disappearing completely [ thats what it did in beta 1 ].

Dude people need to stop asking this and just read some other threads... You're getting off topic too

Wait, what's going on in the first picture? I don't recognize that transition. You said it's for when an app is opening, but when I open an app, it just zooms from the center like it's always done.

The first picture could have been a glitch, im pretty sure the wallpaper and background are supposed to disappear, but in the event they dont, that happens...

But i was saying when you open an app, all the icons are placed offscreen, execpt the two in the bottom. although nothing should be behind an app when its open, the background and icons didnt disappear. so that happened.

its only showing where app icons really go when you open an app.

Nothing you have shown is strange. Your just showing a screen with the task manager activated by double clicking the home button. That's the multitasking feature. HELLOOOOO!!!

HELLOOOOO he's showing that apps that are being updated show up in the multitasking dock. If you read the damn thread you would know that.

And I have had the first picture happen to me when unlocking my phone once.. Relocking and unlocking made it become normal again...
