There is already a thread on this topic.

I do not see why you would not want to jailbreak, it's so easy with the automatic jailbreaks.

i dont see the point in risking making my touch a brick. Sure I d love to have more apps, but I also want to be able to upgrade my device without fearing that it wont work. Now that the SDK comes we will be seeing tons of great apps that will also be legit!

i'm not going to bother. first, i don't have wifi in my house (router is all wired), and even though it seems safe, i'll just wait until apple releases their stuff. truth be told, my touch is just sitting on my desk in my house mostly unused. i'm still trying to find a good case so i can take it with me to work every day. my commute requires that my ipod have good screen protection and easy access, and there are no flip cases currently available.

Their are pro's and con's to jailbreaking.

Personally i'll leave mine alone as it does what I expect of it at the moment.

Adding app's does not interest me at this time.

Taking nothing from those that have done this and added all those weird and wonderful additions !

I'm getting mine on Sunday around 4pm... it will be jailbreaked by 4:30pm. It's the first thing I'm going to do. I'm doing it mostly so I can get the iPhone apps running like notes and a proper calendar. Once Apple releases those I may switch back so that I can get updates.
