I'm looking for earbuds ~$40-$50 they don't have to sound great but I need ones that are comfortable and last a while

Another vote for Skullcandy Ink'd. Though you could get them for $10 or less at Ross or TJ Maxx.

    My brother ordered these: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.18500
When it was shipped, it came in packaging and offered product looking (visually) exactly like this: http://store.apple.com/us/product/MA850

Whether or not they sound exactly the same, I don't know. But, when I tried it right after he unpackaged them, they sounded like crap -- no highs, no lows, and it wasn't even a bose!

They're dirt cheap though, so I ordered a pair too, in case if my mic goes bad. When I get my, I'm gonna do some burn in and then see how they sound after... Who knows

Probably, but the driver is very strange thing... I've seen earphones that sounds like crap before burn in, sounds awesome after; earphones that sounds ok before burn in, sounds like crap during bur in, sounds awesome after; and of course, earphones that sounds like crap before, during, and after burn in

I'm just putting $3 or so on the line to bet that these don't fall in the last group... small enough investment to just laugh it off XD
