I have a wifi iPad 2. Now, in this day and age you will find wifi almost everywhere. Heck, the hardware store down the street even has free wifi

Yeah especially when you have a Dual Gigabit network like my university does! And everyone here goes home from Friday to Sunday and since I'm an out-of-state, I just sit here and soak in a bath of dual gigabit connection speeds. The blue load bar becomes nothing.

I have the WiFi model and are fine with it. It's called tethering.

I have a wifi model and I am perfectly happy with it. I have wifi at home and at work. Whenever I do need to use it elsewhere I just tether it to my iPhone thanks to tether me from cydia.

When you live on and never leave a campus, and have wi-fi speeds like this during a weekday when up to 2,000 people are using part of a dual gigabit network, the wi-fi model is all you need. I can't wait to test the speeds this weekend since everyone goes home besides outofstate kids.
